Hair-rising...

Don't we all smile to ourselves every now and then about the hairdresser's evident obsession to spice up their shops' names with inventive wordplays to suggest "trendy" and "hip" attributes to their potential customers?

We may only speculate about the reasons why this so often drifts off to exceptionally ridiculous verbal potboilers like "Hair Port", "Open Hair", "Hairmony", "Bel Hair", "Millionhair", "Hair Affair", "Hairlounge", "Com Hair", "Hairfect", or others. Let it be their little secret, and the secret of their mostly female customers that behind these verbal infantilisms assume new chic and style for their everyday's heads.

Here one more living example in the form of three (and, granted, decorative) signs at a hair salon's frontage in Chur, Switzerland; seen in June 2008.
